05/21/2014 Nice Chevy Corvette 1980 T-top model. Original black paint (has scratches, stone chips and marks, no dents or bondo, etc.) Missing one t-top, driver's side, due to a tree branch. Original tires-starting to crack, should be replaced if you are driving it. Engine has had emissions removed (antique tag, not required) and an Edelbrock performer manifold installed with a new Edelbrock carburetor. Runs well now, like a 350 should. (got all new ignition wires and plugs at that time too). Car runs and shifts well, no smoke, no oil leaks, etc. Brakes will need checking, Recently the brake light came on, and the brakes are soft-I suspect a leaking cylinder or line, but don't have time to check right now.
Interior is clean and in very good shape. Original oyster color (white). Headlights go up fine, but don't always go down. Typical of this era, and easily fixed (usually a vacuum hose leak). Car stars easily, runs well all day long. A/C blows very cold. Heat works well. AM/FM/CD plays well, sounds great. Power antenna was replaced about a year ago and works well. No cracking or glazing on the fiberglass (indoor kept). Fun car, just don't need or use anymore-no time. |
